JCSA identified the land parcel as being underdeveloped, having recently been used as a parking lot for a defunct grocery store. The challenges in developing this parcel were its limited size and dimensions, as well as a history of neighborhood opposition to previously proposed developments.
JCSA coordinated the multifaceted plan that proactively engaged all aspects of the approval process. From early neighborhood meetings that included design input sessions and early discussions with policy makers, JCSA took the lead in assuring a fair and expeditious approval process. The development was unanimously approved by the Board of Trustees.
